Cat Rescue

Rehomed 2 kittens & a lovely cat whose owner went into a care home recently. Had a phonecall from a lady who lost her kitten 2 weeks ago & put it on our lost/found list. She rang to say she has got it back. It had got into her husband's car engine unbeknown to them, dropped out about 3 miles after.Someone saw it & took it to the nearest vets as it had some injuries. They took pics of it & put it on Facebook where the owners reconised it & were reunited. It's injuries are, broken teeth & grazing to its face/chin but is recovering well.

Have to tell you a story about cats and cars - when we lived in Rhodesia I drove into the local settlement (about 10kms) and unbeknown to me six of the kittens had being having fun and games in the engine of my vehicle. As a consequence as I drove along they were falling out on the road (one held on to for about 8 kms) Anyway when I got home my maid said the kittens were missing so we searched the property (very large) without success. Got a phone call from the store to say a lady was there with six kittens and spitting fire and blood because "some woman in a yellow pick up with two huge GSDs has been throwing kittens out along the road - . Well everyone knew it must be me so emphatically assured her I wouldn't be doing that but believe me she took some convincing! All kitties were well and unharmed btw
