Is it possible to hatch chicks from BROWN NOT WHITE eggs from the farmer's market?

This probably sounds REALLY stupid but just wondering- Is it possible? Also, do chicks immediately die once they are refrigerated? Or does it take time, and, if so, how long?

Not sure what you mean with chicks dying in the fridge but fertile eggs to go into an incubator stay viable for up to two weeks if kept at 10°C. After that the hatching rate drops.
