strange bathroom antics

my cat is obsessed with bathrooms, and would stay in there all day if she could. its very strange - she stares at the plug hole for hours, even though we run the tap to see if shes thirsty (she'll drink a little then continue to stare). whether upstairs or down, she's always in one bathroom staring, and im starting to get a little worried!! Also, if you're in there and the door is shut, she will meow and scratch ferociously untill you let her in. can anyone help me?! thanks xx

She has probably seen a spider coming up or going down the plughole and will remember it for a long time and stare waiting to pounce.  My cat does the same.

She also sits staring for ages at the air vent in the kitchen since we had a mouse in there once.  That was at least a year ago and every day she waits for it!!!
