And the music took me right back to the early 70's and being in Greece with my lovely Mr LL (Demis Roussos) and I loved the music. But I hate the thought of performing dolphins being in a tank and entertaining humans (which those in the film obviously were)
Thanks lankeela. For the dog and the memories x

The directed tricks the dophins did were not natural (the movements were natural but how they happened were not) - this suggested that the filming was contrived - the dog was great but unlikely to have formed a bond with the fish -has any one translated the sub titles? suggest they were not profound. A very touching story but not likely to be true - this is answerbank - and my answer stands.
"unlikely to have formed a bond with the fish" ?
So you are 'informed' up to the point where you don't know the difference between a fish and a cetacean then - brilliant.
So it's 'contrived' and *schmaltzy* (tut tut Mark) big deal !
If you can't just accept it for what it is, why not just ignore it and let the rest of us sad f*ckers who still have some aimless sentimentality have our moment ?
(Loooby, the film was fine - I crumbled at 6.50 !)
