many moons ago I reported to you all that my poor terrapin couldn't lay her eggs - very serious apparently - anyway my wonderful vet has saved her and she eventually laid over 40 eggs - not keeping them of course as there are enough terrapins in Britain without any more to be poorly treated. Just thought you would like to know.

Aw, that's wonderful - 40! what happens to the eggs then, why do you not keep a few?

Unless the terrapin has mated, the eggs won't hatch as they will be infertile.
