Not as far as I know, unless they need specs!

There aren't  many ducks that roost or nest in trees, but there are a few that do.

The domesticated types like the Muscovy or Mandarin are quite fond of them, but the Wood Duck actually chooses to nest in a tree, although the branches have to be hanging over water so that  when the babies hatch they just fall out of the nest..... plop straight into the water to follow mother.

That's really interesting Cetti.  Just shows I don't know much about ducks!  I can't imagine those big, waddling old muscovies roosting in trees.  The trees would have to be pretty strong!
I know FP it does paint a rather weird picture doesn't it? I have seen a Coot and a  Moorhen (not together!) in trees, but not a duck as yet.
We do tend to get quite a few moorhens and coots in our garden, Cetti.   Our neighbours have a huge natural pond!  No muscovies in my trees though!
If you aim right when you boot them they do.......
