I havent had many birds frequenting my garden lately, only the odd blackbird ,robin and a couple of pigeons.Is anybody else having the same problem?

The very mild Autumn kept many garden birds in their summer habitat. This time last year was so cold they were queuing at the feeders.

No sparrows any more, no blackbirds for months, saw a woodpecker out there today, just lots of crows and magpies. And pigeons.
think those maggies have a lot to answer for Smurf. They were knocking stuffing out of nests with young in last spring.
I've still got very few birds too. just lots and lots of Rooks, I do wonder if they are keeping the garden birds away?

I noticed this morning that the sunflower hearts that I put in a bird feeder had gone down by a good inch at least ,that looks promising ,doesnt it ?

We have all year pigeons, a robin occasionally, I miss the tiny song birds.
Those birds ain't stupid! They know quality food.
