Advantage for Dogs

Has anyone used this? I see it is now available without prescription. I know anything is better than Frontline...is this one?

Hmmm pasta, I'm suspicious as it was previously available on prescription and now it isn't. Frontline was available on prescription and then it wasn't plus the price dropped and we know why. So I'm a wee bit suspicious. I've read the reviews, mainly good, some bad, but mostly from America where it may not be the same strength. Personally I wouldn't risk it as I wouldn't want a home or animal infested with fleas. My feeling is that it's not much good if it doesn't need a prescription but I'll probably be eaten alive now for that remark. Why risk it though? X

We use Stronghold - having tried Frontline and Advocate, I wouldn't use anything but Stronghold now.

I use Advocate on my two not had any problems so far. Not heard about this one.

I use advocate too, it's quite pricey but it seems to work fine, and prevents worm infestation too, only have to give a worming tablet once every 3 months to prevent tapeworm, which is the only one that advocate doesn't prevent....

I'm an Advocate fan for cats and dogs as well. Stronghold is good, bit cheaper but doesn't cover as many wormy things as Advocate, at least I think that's what the vet said.
