Birds flying into our patio door glass ..........
11 Answers
Twice this week a little goldfinch has crashed into our glass doors. Can anyone please suggest anything we can stick on the glass to stop them, which doesn't look tacky.. I have seen big coloured birds transfers or stickers etc but these look hideous and we don't want it to look awful from our lounge.

Good idea flump - I have seen those twirly silver mobiles in garden centres, we may try those, thanks.
Little goldfinch who flew in to them this afternoon has now recovered and flown off after sitting stunned for a while...........

Hi chi-chi - well remembered! Yes its the same patio doors .......... we got it fixed last week, glaziers said it would have taken more than a small bird to make it break from top to bottom like it did, so the mystery remains! Luckily the insurance company paid out - we had £50 excess to pay. The bird table is situated well away from them - halfway across the lawn so I don't know why they fly into them ...........
