are peacocks native to the uk, and do they live in the wild

They are originally from India and feral colonys exist in Britain in places like High Littleton in Somerset.
I thought they came from India or South East Asia. I'm trying to think if we have any native UK birds with what'd be described as "exotic" plumage but can't think of any. More colouful birds always seem to come from hotter countries.
