My colleague's mum passed away yesterday morning. She was 94 and had a very good life. My colleague is trying to get a flight to Ghana for the funeral.

Carakeel lost her son when he was 21, 0ver twenty years ago, she still lives with that void in her life every single day.

Life can be so unfair for even the gentlest of people.

My thoughts are with his family.
