Please don't take this as a personal afront, but even at 5 months old, pets (especially small dog breeds) are what their owners have made them. Obviously this isn't always the case but there are few exceptions. Dog breeding is quite often (and sadly so) a "business" above all else. Again not always, but it's often a case of qantity first and quality second. I'm sure your Pembrokeshire Corgi could be socialised quite quickly given her age, but the longer you leave it the worse the problem will become.
