My first post on Answerbank so assistance would be appreciated. I love my cats dearly but tonight i rescued a baby bird from one of my cats. As I was typing my question he has brought in another obviously from the same nest. I am trying to keep them both warm. They have some wing feathers but pretty sparse on the body. Is there anything I can do to help them? I am worried about putting them back outside in case they call and my cat finds them again but I know they are very young. Any pointers would be appreciated.
Is there an animal hospital/rescue in your area? Apart from keeping your cat(s) in, there is not a lot you can do. Cats are natural predators and do not mix well with suburban Nature.
