I took Alfie for walkies earlier with his new ball thrower. I threw the ball a few times and he chased and fetched it enthusiastically. All.of a sudden he put the ball down, turned around and did a massive you-know-what right on top of the tennis ball.

He was genuinely perplexed as to why I wouldn't throw the ball for him after that.

NM, you must have non-chewing dog then, a tennis ball does not even last from home to the park here.
Here's a thought, he's seen you pick up both and thought he was saving you trouble by keeping it all together?
They did mrs c.
LOL sibton, that makes a very clever dog then.
Did they tony? I don't use it very often but it's always worked when I have.

'Fraid not, LB. He once ate a tennis ball back in Spain. It obviously didn't fill him up as he then went and nicked half a tortilla of the kitchen side.
Thanks Tony. At one time we used to have bold and coloured as well, back in the good old days. :o)
Don't remember those mrs c, must be before my time.
I can remember the bold but not the coloured................
Ed pulled the plug on the colours in 2006.
We used to have a greyhound who was as thick as a brick. She was extremely loveable, but dear me, she didn't have a braincell to her name. But we miss her like hell and she's been 'gone' 15 years.
One of our wee budgies (RIP Toby) used to make me smile....he was the tiniest scrap of a thing but he used to say, "Toby's an eagle".

Of course, he was only repeating what he had been taught to say, but it did sound funny. Still miss him and it's been a few years now.
