I know both dogs and cats get them...but can they catch colds from each other?
I ask because earlier in the week,Sally was sneezing a lot,and was off her food for a few days. Now she's better, but Caspar is sneezing and snorting.

Any ideas,any one???
I really did not know that cats and dogs catch colds. I have had dogs for thirty years and have never experienced a dog with a cold.
Not entirely sure pasta, but it does sound feasible I mean bugs are bugs aren't they. Humans can pass bugs to one and other so why not animals.

When Sally was sneezing-I thought she may have gotten something up her nose. Now that Caspar is also-and he's an indoor cat-I can't help but think they've both had the sniffles.
http://www.ehow.com/a...ld-symptoms-dogs.html I think I would get him checked over at the vets just to be safe.

Sally(the dog) is fine now. It's the cat that is sneezing. But he's still eating normally-and I can't see any discharge. So I will keep my eye on him.
Thanks for the link though, rattyratgirl.
