Inspired by a reply on another thread of mine, do you have any restrictions on where your pets, mainly cats and dogs, are or aren't allowed in your home?

Nope...he goes where he wants when he wants...NOW!

I have rabbits and they are restricted to the garden and the out house.
i have 3 cats and they get everywhere (but they are well trained and don't scratch/pee anywhere). they make useful hot water bottles at night, although you do get pinned to the bed x
My cats are like ninja's! They appear and hide when and where you least expect them - I have given up lol. x
When we had a dog it wasn't allowed upstairs or by the tale when we were eating and when we had a cat it wasn't allowed on our or the children's beds.

Same with my cat, free range (save cupboards where she is a beggar to persuade out from - you know cats and hidey spaces!).
I tend to keep the bedroom doors closed....otherwise the dog will adopt my bed as her own. It's bad enough I have to push her to one side so I can have a corner of the sofa....;-0
I don't allow the cat on my bed either for the simple fact, like lcg says, he pins me to the bed. He is welcome to sleep on the floor though, which he often does.

Same here smow, I swear my one can teleport!
Live in a bungalow, dogs dont go in the bedrooms, or get sent out if they do creep in, dogs sleep in the kitchen, cat goes everywhere, even goes to the loo with me!! if I shut the toilet door before she gets in she goes mental outside, trying to get through the door. X
No pets but Teddy is not allowed in the kitchen.
No, no restrictions on daughter's 4 dogs, love them they are family
Sparkles, same as my cat...
One of my cats favourite new places is bottom shelf of wardrobe - so you will slide door open and bloody cat will leap out!!!
All rescued dogs
my cats are not allowed in the bedrooms if i am not home, or the bathroom either actually as Trisha fights with the bathmats and leaves them all crumpled up and dangerously positioned so as to create a possible trip hazard, little bitch that she is.....
My dog is not allowed on the bed, and only allowed on the sofa if invited (which is not very often). Day one of having her as a puppy, I took her to bed with me, she slept on the pillow. She cuddled up to me. Then there was a rather warm feeling on my head. Warm and Wet! I learnt my lesson early on
how strange....when i go to the loo, one cat usually appears and comes to have a tinkle with me as the litter tray is in there. she tries to get in the loo when mr kicker goes sometimes. i think she has been dropped on her head at some point.......she is very silly x

And me Sparkles! Mine (when I had my Nush too) always got uneasy round closed doors, part of me thinks they may have been shut in somewhere before they were rescued though I think it's a bit of a cat thing anyway.

I have tried to persuade her off the bed when I get pinned down though I swear she has an invisible bungee rope attached to her, same effect anyway!
The cat -for some odd reason-does not sleep in 'normal' cat places-where everything is soft. Instead he sleeps right in front of the front door....so he gets pushed aside every time it's opened.
The dog is too big to share the bed...I tried, but I get paws in my face....
My dog is allowed anywhere in the house, infact he will try to kick in the toilet door if I'm having a wee.
