Pomegranate Seeds For Birds?

I have some fresh pomegranates, would the seeds be suitable to feed to the birds?

Perfectly safe, full of minerals and vitamins, and their small size is an advantage for the smaller-sized garden birds

Parrots love them Ann...Although we don't have a lot of those in Leicestershire ;o)

Thanks I can safely use them now - although best not put out at the mo, snowing so heavily they would be covered up in minutes!
