My 4 month old pup has on the last three times out been sick in the car. She's drooling a lot of saliva and quickly panics and thrown up before we could get stopped.   Any suggestions to cure this most welcome.

Hi Ianess,

When my doggy was a baby he did the exact thing unfortunately he is now 5 and a half and he still does it! Some dogs just always get motion sickness, some grow out of it.
Lucky you having a puppy!! I want one too!!!
There is a very good chance that your pup will grow out of it.  My dog was very sick until she was about 18 months and then it all stopped!  Much the same as young children!
hi i have a 4 month old pup too, he luckily is not travelsick but saying that because of the intense heat last week even first thing in the morning about 9 when he gets his main walk on own not with the other dog and a training session he was foaming at the mouth so could be the heaton the other hand he may just be travel sick in which case placing him in the car to feed , sit himin whilst cleaning car go only around the block and build up by adding a few minutes onto journeys every time you get from ato b without him being sick

harsh as it sounds, remove all food from the puppy for 8 hours before your journey. It works for lots of dogs, and if it doesn't work for yours it's only 8 hours. He'll soon make up for it.

I have heard of junket tablets working - never worked on my dog though....

The only thing that did was for my dog to find a spot in the car that she liked (front paws on the centre consol, with the air vent straight at her face - although I don't condone it). Then we'd take her out in the car for lots of 5 min drives, after a while we'd start to lengthen the journey...

In the end, the longest she could go was 2 hours on the road - then a short rest stop and we'd be back on the road again..... it ended up working out well for all passengers!!

Good luck!! :-)
