The vet did tests on it but couldn't find out what it was. It grew to about the size of a tennis ball on the top of his head and was solid. Then it started to soften and now (about 3months later) it has totally disappeared
thanks for answers it wasa huge abcess that had to be lanced my poor poodle had his first haircut and looks like a monk .....the vet said it could be caused by 2 things either traumatised bruising fromplaying rough with my other dog or its congenital in which case surgery is the only option to cut it away , hes feeling very sorry for himselfonantibiotics and metacam till tues when have to return ..... thanx 4 help x
Hugs to you all. I hope the abcess doesn't recurr.
My little dog had nine teeth out yesterday. He had already had several out a few years ago. He is a bit sorry for himself today as well, but is sleeping a great deal which will help him. He was rescued by us three years ago, after being very badly treated. x
