Ferret fanciers - general advice please....

I am about to take on one (hopefully two, as they are sociable animals) of these lovely creatures as pets.  We used to have one in the family, but that was many years ago, so my skills are a little rusty.  They are currently only a couple of weeks old, so getting them used to being handled shouldn't be a problem and I propose to get them 'done' when old enough so that health/behaviour problems should be minimised.

Looking at housing/cages I would prefer to keep them indoors (especially with our damp climate) and I think this will also encourage us to play with them.  Anyone got any recommendations or advice?

here's a starter website. Google on keeping ferrets there are loads of others. I used to have a mate who had a pet ferret, she was really cute and tame but I do remember the smell!

try pets at home or your local pet shop you can buy large indoor rabbit /g-pig cages that are good or you can get large ferret/rat cages called Terenziani, but these are very pricey! good luck and have loads of fun with your little balls of fur I have 3 jills of verying ages and colours and I love them to bits but they do smell so you'l need ferret shampoo if your going to keep them inside :-)
