Frankie (my avatar) gets a steroid injection every four weeks or so for his asthma. I made an appointment to take him last week but it was so hot that I cancelled it ~ he seemed to be healthy.
Ten minutes after the surgery closed on Saturday he started coughing and wheezing. I had to give him inhalers over the weekend but they didn't seem to stop him coughing.
Luckily I got an appointment at the vet at nine this morning, Frankie wasn't at all impressed. £70+ spent on him for injection and a new inhaler.
Now he is lying in the sun with little breaks to stuff his face.
Me ~ I am a quivering wreck. I start work at one and am off for a nap to see if I can calm down.
