Update On Pusscat..

Hi everyone. Just to update you on my furry friend. Puss is doing very well on three legs. It was a cancer on his hind leg which did need amputation. He is running round like he still has 4. He was doing fine for first 3 weeks after op then seemed to go backwards for next 2 really very worrying and distressing to see. Our vet said he should have been better. I researched the internet to find other cat owners whose cats had experienced the same problems as ours and it seems that they had been suffering phantom leg syndrome. He was given painkilling medication over a few days and it seemed then that he turned the corner. It is now almost 12 weeks since op. Re heart condition, medication appears to be stabilizing his heart so hopefully we will have him around for some time yet, fingers crossed.
