That we could have a thread just for the Daily Doings of our feline friends/ masters/ mistresses ? No I don't mean their exploits in and around their litter trays, more along the lines of the daily antics etc.

For instance.....Ziggi has just started to climb the curtains, now this is the first breed of cat, and the first of my cats ever to do this, and I hope he realises the futility of this very quickly !! So far mo damage, but the look on his face is a treat !

Ok what did your little bundle of fur get up to, today ?

one day last week the virgin man came to fix the tv box. the kitties, being wary of strangers, very quickly made themselves scarce. however it wasn't long before curiosity got the better of them and in no time at all, tv repair man had a feline audience of 3 watching his every move.

Did they try to help ie removing his tools or the like ?
no, they just sat in a semicircle behind him, watching.....
:-( sicked all over the worktop
My dog slept.
A lot.
Thank goodness.....
My little darling stopped me going out to the pub again!

This time I didn't even get as far as the door. She'd been asleep for ages but, as soon as I stood up to go out, she woke up and gave me a look that said "If you go out, I'll chase after you again, just like last night!"

Oh well, perhaps I'll be able to sneak out to the local shop, for a few bottles, within the next few minutes. (She's currently half-asleep on a cushion on my desk - placed there especially for her - glaring at me if I dare to turn up my Benny Goodman CD to anything above minimal volume or if I simply type too fiercely!)
I have 2 bundles, 8 mths and 13 mths. The worst doing was probably when the elder one jumped headlong and sank Tom & Jerry style into the fish tank when OH lifted the lid to feed them. Bit boring today so far, only event being a 6 inch wriggling earthworm abandoned in the kitchen.

Oh yerrch, boxy, hope it was a kitchen bench, not a computer station ! Though kitchen bench bad enough.

Was that Patches, Chris ? She's getting very bossy, very quickly for a newbie ! Who taught her the rules of the house ?

Love their antics when they're babies, Prudie. I wondered about getting two when I got Ziggi, gosh I'm glad I didn't, he and the dogs together are quite enough another and I don't think the house and us, could've coped !

Shoota - I didn't forget you, ours slept quite a bit, between rousing the cat and bollocking anything that moved outside ! Standard behaviour, that !
>>>Who taught her the rules of the house ?

She's teaching me, Seekerz!
;-)

I aborted my trip to the shop, to get some beer, a short while ago because she insisted on running down the middle of the road alongside me. She's now fast asleep but the shop closed a quarter of an hour ago :(
Do you think AA might have trained her Chris?
Ya big wuss Chris. Mine follow me to the shop and sometimes come for a little mosey round it with me!!!!!!

That's verrrry sneaky, talk about a woman spoiling your fun !! How do you get any shopping down with bossy britches in charge
I went to the local supermarket. Opened the door and Barney entered before me. No animals allowed was shouted at me, so I took my custom elsewhere.
Jeza, next time ask them how the bacon got in.
I don't mind Patches joining me in principle but she's a very young cat with absolutely no road sense whatsoever and (as the fact that she now lives with me proves) likely to get lost if she goes too far outside her normal territory.

I'm probably also feeling a bit guilty because I know that I'll be leaving her on her own when I travel to London on Wednesday. (I won't be returning until Friday evening because of work commitments). She'll have mountains of cat food left out for her (and I might well leave some heating on too) but I'm still feeling bad about it (and terrified that she might not be here when I get home) particularly as I'll have to do the same again for the following two weeks.

Of course, all of the foregoing assumes that I can actually get to the station, without being ordered home again, on Wednesday!
I let the chickens out in the morning And the cat sneaks in And hides under the Nest boxes and steals the freshly laid eggs :(
I always wanted a dog when I was young. I used to drag big dogs home and vividly remember trying to drag a GSD home when I was about the same height as it - it was long haired and I grabbed a chunk of hair and dragged the poor thing along the road.

After my second dog died I went to the place where feline Gods stay and found one willing to employ me as a slave. He was very old and had been a stray.

Since then (about 2001) I have been learning about felines and they are actually quite fascinating. They are so small and cute looking but they are evil and manipulative.

A few of my friends have asthma caused by cats, I have an asthmatic cat. My lady cat, Merlin, has a vague look on her face. The vet didn't think that there was much activity between her ears. Workmen are warned not to go near her, but she looks so sweet. She has, to my knowledge, sunk her teeth into two workmen.

Maybe we should start up a joint blog where we can tell our funny stories and educate those unlucky/lucky enough not to have a feline boss.

Frankie is under the radiator just outside my study. This means that he is warm and can see if I have food. I have no idea where Princess Stupid is. She has her own FB page.

They're gorgeous ..love the 'I'm indifferent to your suffering' one, but they're all good

Chris I've been thinking about your dilemma - is there something miss patches particularly likes, food wise ? Could you leave a stack of that item for her then make a bolt for freedom, hoping against hope she's not a fast eater ?
