Amabaglen, I've had a hunt round the internet but can't find the exact lorbex ingredient list anywhere. You better keep an eye on it, they're likely to be taking an interest in chewing Ladies' Slippers for a while.

I just looked at an advert for it, it says,
///As with all fertilisers, keep out of the reach of children and pets///
If it were one of my dogs, I would at least 'phone the out of hours vet for advice.
Phone your vet NOW or any out of hours vet service in your area and tell them what has happened. Have the container in your hand when making the phone call. Was there much in it for your dog to swallow?

Call the vet immediately (even if it is a bank holiday weekend, get them out/ ask for advice just to be on the safe side and take the cost on the chin). Your dog may start to vomit, go shaky (or show changes from their usual behaviour) or drink water excessively, but please do call the vet now for help - that is what they are there to do.

All the very best
I also have drawn a blank on the Net. One would have thought the lorbex site would be more forthcoming.
All I could find was this http://www.petpoisonhelpline.com/poison/fertilizers/

I would phone the vet, they have access to other information that we won't be able to see.

Some toxins take a while to do any damage - your dog may seem okay now but that doesn't mean that there is no danger.

Please let us know how you get on.

Ambaglen, how is your dog now? Have you spoken to a vet as advised? Please let us know the situation at the moment.

Thanks to everyone who answered. Vet advises no damage. If large amount ingested may result in diarhoea and vomiting for 12 hours or so. Keep hydrated.
Ah good.
Great to hear the dog is all well and good ambaglen xx
