My small courtyard(covered in pebbles) has become a "depository" for some neighbourhood cats....any ideas on what can be used to keep them out?
Approaching their owners is a waste of time and I would rather not have to spend too much money to resolve this...any advice gratefully recvd.
thank you in advance.

Dirty washing-up water from a squeezy bottle if you casn catch them at it.
What about a large cardboard cut-out of a dog.
a few plastic bottles with some water in them
Water pistol, or a (more expensive) sonar cat repellent. You could try some lemon disinfectant too.
'Get Off' - from DIY stores...it's like a green gel like substance, smells like Citronella...does the trick, although remember to re-apply after it's rained or after a few weeks...read the instructions.
Didn't someone start a thread earlier today saying you have to sling them at least 20 meters down the road and then they don't come back ?

Otherwise they aren't keen on camphor.
garlic/chilli powder ( no one mention an air gun please ) ::0
