they are not lazy at my last house dennis was sat next to me at the bus stop wanting to go to work with me this was at 5am

the next day he did the same thing


after that i use to make sure he was in the house before i left -)

But I agree that ordering a cat to do something is never going to work. Catching them to take them to the vet is hard enough.

ladybirder there was a bloke near me use to go to the chippy at night with his dog, the dog would sit outside looking at him in the shop, a yard behind his dog was his cat watching both

when he came out the dog and cat would follow him across the main road and down the side street home

I would never find my way home from the shop if I didnt have at least a 3 cat escort. Although its slightly embarrassing when they actually come IN the shop with me.

How it can be said they are lazy beats me. When I get out of the 4 inches of bed I have managed to retrieve from them, I have to wait at the top of the stairs for the herd to thunder past me before I dare start my descent.

They have an amazing sense of hearing too. They cant hear you shout "NO" from 3 feet, but they can hear the cat food cupboard being opened from 4 miles away.

Although none of mine have actually brought drugs home. Useless sods.

When I was young our cat used to go and meet my mum of the works bus.

I've never owned a cat so know very little about them, but are you're saying they can't be trained? I'm thinking about cat's in films, have they been trained or are they just filmed and hopefully they do something the director can use? interesting story about the drugs, though.
