What is the study of Arachnids called?

Hi

I'm fasinated by the names of 'ologies' and recently discovered a list of them on the net. Its a good listing but doesn't have an 'ology' for arachnids. It separates them into mites, ticks e.t.c but does not contain just a arachnid one. I think its Arachnology but Im not sure. PLEASE HELP ME

You are correct in your assumption... The American Arachnological Society has over 500 members and the International Congress of Arachnology at the Field Museum in Chicago drew nearly 300 Arachnologists, of which 40% were from outside the United States....
