My Cat Seems Ill

Sorry I posted in wrong place
I am really concerned about my cat she seems to be unwell. She is off her food and has been acting out of character today she is lying in corners of the room and under chairs and wont let me come near her

My girl cat is long haired and she has been grumpy and bad tempered since the heat arrived. She should be a bit more active during the night.

Like you I worry about my kitties but my t says that if they are eating and drinking and using the litter tray they can't be too ill.

A couple of weeks ago I was freaking out due to the heavy rain and my leaky roof. :-)

Gordie it may well be the heat but if she is actually hissing at you, and doesn't normally, she may be in pain. If it were me and she's still like it in the morning I'd ring the vets. My cats have been lethargic, panting at times and lying on cool places but they are not grumpy or withdrawn.

She seems a lot better today she is eating and i have identified what the problem is it seems to be a furball she is coughing a lot like she is trying to get it up but cant Im going to try tuna in oil and anti furball food I have paste but she refuses to take it. And I have tried to brush her but she hisses at me !!
