Detering Cats

Anybody ever used pepper to deter cats from lawn?

Whenever i've mentioned barking dogs annoying me on Answerbank I ALWAYS get the dog owners claiming that it is natural behaviour on the part of the dog and that I should just put up with it. Cats roaming is also natural behaviour.

flump - your OH might hammer on the window with the intention of scaring off the cat but I bet that the cat just turns around and glares at him.

Does this crazy cat lady have the cats neutered? My two are brother and sister and sometimes it is like a war zone - I can only imagine the battles between 14 animals that, usually, prefer to be solitary.

There is something about cats - people usually either love them or hate them with a passion.

Indeed the cats do wolf, sometimes they scarper others they glare before sauntering off.
The crazy cat lady had one pregnant cat as a get rich quick scheme that failed miserably. None of them have ever been to the vet.
Every time my step daughter comes she brings along a couple of biting lodgers.
I don't mind cats ( I love dogs ) Mr flumps daft going on drives me potty !!

On the contrary daffy. It is very common in my experience. I think the burying thing is a myth.

Camphor seems to discourage cats, but needs constant replacing.
