hello, just updating you on MIL's dog - she has successfully managed to lose 4kg and leg is much better. Eye is still healing, mammary lump still there (obviously). Husband's sister is going to take dog on :)

That is excellent news thanks to your care and the offer of a new home for her with somebody she knows?? I hope your sister in law keeps up the good work and the dog has a happy life for what time she has left. Such good news to go to bed on:-) You must be very pleased yourself. Well done.

That's the cowards way of doing it.
Frankie is not really fat (5.5kg) but my attempt to feed him less food than he wanted initially resulted in him steal his sister's food. She beat him up and he was too much of a coward to try it again.
So he woke me up at silly o'clock and stared meowing and whining, scratching and biting. I took the cowards way out too!

mil made the decision herself that she could not cope with having her back. The dog is actually originally sister in law's dog - she persuaded the mum to get her when she was doing her a levels and was about 17, then left for uni and has never been back,so the dog has always lived at the mum's house, but the dog and sister in law are very familiar with each other.
