Cock Fighting!

I have a friend who has witnessed a neighbour who has had at least one cock fighting session in the back garden. This is awful. She hates it and cannot do anything about it. The reason she can't is because of repercussions, the are traveller people and will get away with stuff anonomously. She does not think the police will do anything and besides, even if she had of called them on the eveing in question, they will have dispersed and got rid of any evidence. They will have known it was her because her house overlooks theirs. Is there anything she could have done? She is alone.

Thanks. But what about the fear of repercussions? She doesn't want her car vandalised or house trashed etc. After all it can only be a call received that would make them go round to investigate!! Scary stuff!

If she explained the circumstances the RSPCA would use what she'd told them as background information.
People like that don't operate in isolation. They need to buy birds, arrange fights, and travel to other contests. Any information the RSPCA can gather will help them get a picture of the wider scene.

I understand the fear of repercussions but not acting is not an option.

I would go via Crimestoppers - Police act on local knowledge not just eye witness accounts, so the tip off could come from anywhere.
