Red And Sore Undercarriage.

My *** is feeding 7 puppies who now have claws. She tries to feed them while standing which I think is to keep their claws away. However she is very red and sore looking,with broken skin in places. Any advice?
I'll ring the vet tomorrow - it's not an emergency, but I really feel for her!

Thunder killed my router so been off-line for a few days (seems like months!).
My female dog is much better now thanks all.
