European Lizard

These photos were taken in Croatia a month ago by my son. We would appreciate any help in identifying them. Between 8cm - 10cm long (max 4 inches). Green and black / brown. Photos are here:

First guess is an Italian Wall Lizard...

could be an eyed lizard (Lacerta lepida)

Lacerta lepida can grow up to a length of 2 feet. These little guys were about 4 inches. After looking on several sites I believe burnhal has cracked it with the Italian Wall Lizard (Podarcis sicula) as seen here:
