I was very happy to receive the frogs but that seems to be the problem with the heat.huge frogs that mated and now have a zillion tatpoles.the poor fishes look much more stressed and hide if they feel any movement.I am not under a flight route.
You need to do a decent water change....30% and then find a way of aerating the water.....usually with some sort of fountain (solar powered???) Warm water contains far less oxygen then cold water. that's your problem and you might of had a fair few tadpoles die in the heat too....which just adds to the pollution and lack of O2.
You ony need pumps and filters if a pond is overstocked and /or fed or overfed. Oxygenating plants absorb oxygen at night when they are not photosynthesising. It is safer to have very few plants as they have a high oxygen consumption when they decay. Most of the oxygen in ponds is absorbed from the atmosphere.
