Do Goldfish sleep? I know its a wierd question, but I just wondered....

I don't know about sleep but mine always rest in one corner at the bottom overnight.

Fish do not technically sleep as they don't have eyelids but they do go into a temporary state of trance during darkness.
But they are prepared to "wake up" quickly should they be threatened by a predator.
