Might be worthwhile asking for contact details of owners of pups from previous litters as well.
As others have said, take care about where you consider buying from.

There is no such breed, and the links given by Chris just go to prove it - how can you have a 'black' Goldendoodle??? Or a 'mini' Goldendoodle - if one parent is a Golden Retriever then they are never going to be mini!! They are crossbreeds and should be advertised as such. Also as said above both breeds suffer from inherited eye conditions so any parents and puppies need to be eye tested and also parents hip scored before considering breeding from them. Anything less is scandalous.
Such a beautiful breed of dog. Those who take it will be very lucky. My daughter really wanted a dog and we didn't know which one to buy. We considered different options and decided on two. This is a Goldendoodle and a Labradoodle. They are very similar characters and I could not choose. But since I was buying a dog for my daughter, the choice was hers. She used the Internet and studied each of these breeds and settled on the Labradoodle. She found an article which compared the two species and describe each. We are very happy with the choice. If anyone else doubts, read about them here https:/ /petpls .com/la bradood le-vs-g oldendo odle-a- full-br eakdown -of-the -breeds /
