During heavy rain today,I saw movement on the flat tarmac roof,of a building opposite our house.The cat seemed fascinated too,and on closer observation,I realised,there were about 30-40 starlings having a big communal bird bath! I've never seen that happen there before,anyone else seen any thing similar?

Yup - those pesky starlings are great at adapting our environment to suit themselves.  And then they bask in it!!

Have read a lot of stephen king,but not that one! You've got me interested! But maybe I might be better off not knowing!!
