Although this cat was seriously injured it looks like he will be okay. I hope that his is able to be reunited with his humans.

Would it have been a waste of money if the cat had found a loving home afterward? I doubt it...it would be win...win for both the cat and his new forever owners.

Sorry to stir opinions. I just felt that considering the cat had three metal spikes going through its body, one of the most humane things to do would be to put it to sleep. As I previously stated, given that now it is alive and seemingly happy, I am glad the firemen and veterinarians did what they could do.
