Ours is exceptionally good. Take this: like many, we eat our main meal seated in our favourite armchairs with a cushion on our laps.
Come mealtimes, Black Cat is always curled up on one armchair, which is also HIS favourite. I hold up one of the mealtime cushions, say “Time now puss,” and 99% of the time up he gets, stretches, and pads off into the evening.
His only reward is to be called “Good Cat.”
I’ve always found black cats to be very sensitive.
Wild dogs would hunt for food to eat. They wouldn't go chasing things in order to maim them and then just leave them to die. They would eat what they killed.
My neighbours cats actually eat the things they catch, I have caught my own cat eating a mouse, its gross I agree however cats do in fact eat or at least partially eat their kill no matter how well they are fed.
