I used to work for DWP (25 years) but my mental health took a nose dive. These days I volunteer in an Oxfam bookshop and it is enjoyable work.
I'm sorry to hear that your wife is ill. I hope that you look after your own health as well, my dad used to make himself ill caring for my mum. After she died he was a bit of a lost soul.
Wolf my wife had serious kidney failure which pepes will know on here, she pulled through with dialysis and 100 percent oxygen support initially she is at home now with my surport and local nurses surport, but unfortunately she still dosent now whats goning on from day to day. So I am doing 24~7 caring which is becoming a bit wearing.
Thank You as well as Jen can walk to car might come and visit you for a lunch and chat. I still try and help at our community garden. it was amazing last week when one of our clients brought his whole group of his friends down.
Tony, I think that we all dread losing our brain power. My mum died at 58 and my dad was in his early seventies but they were both mentally okay.
I have kidney problems they have been wrecked by the drugs that I take. My boy cat has chronic kidney disease and is on a special, expensive, cat food that he hates.
Try and get some sleep. I'm under the duvet with one of the moggies, the other one is trying to break into the cupboard that houses his treats.
