Modern farming techniques? Urban development? No. It's the domestic cat. They kill small wildlife just for the pleasure of it. My MP, Liz McInnes, posted on FB yesterday that we should all donate to the Cats Protection League. What an idiot. She should be concentrating on more important issues. Cats serve no purpose whatsoever.

One of our two cats is a cracking little huntress. Mice, voles, birds, the odd pigeon. A bigger nuisance is dogs crapping all over the place.

Old people have contributed to the upkeep of this country. Cats kill birds outside people's back doors.

Some dogs have recently killed babies. They're worse.
What are you suggesting, a cull ?
Not a pet owner then ?
Cats don't actually stray far from their homes so unless you live in the countryside...

I've nothing against a few pet cats for company, but I wouldnt have one myself, and have little time for a protection league.
Cats are natural hunters . Unlike dogs they can never be fully domesticated.

Eddie...what about indoor cats?
I have never been owned by an indoor cat, seems rather unkind to not let them wander around.
Hostages, ummmm, it's an outrage, nothing less.
