One of my goldfish seems to be having buoyancy trouble. He seems to struggle swimming to the middle or bottom of the tank, and when he finally stops, floats right back to the top again, almost flipping on his side. All the other fish are ok...are his days numbered?

Thanks you topshot for your help and swift reply.
As topshot says, it is more than likely swim bladder. As well as doing as he/she says. You can also put aquarium salt in the water which helps a bit. I lost one not so long ago. If its only just happened, you can hold it upright and swim in backwards and forwards and sometimes this helps to clear the air. Also you can feed it with cooked peas with the skins removed. Good Luck.
Keep the water quality good to avoid your other fish catching it.
Have just been to feed my fish and I also have a Tiger Barb with the same problem. Its sad to see them like that.
I hope you had better luck than me! Mine died tonight.
