please can you tell me what british bird does'nt hibernate and why?

I am not aware that any british bird hibernates. Some do migrate to warmer places for the winter

Birds dont hibernate, maybe your talking bats ?

The only known bird to hibernate, is the North American Nightjar, and some birds manage to sloe their metabolism down. but British birds either stay out, or, as has already been stated, migrate.
