He's doing well...eager for his walks with only a bit of bribery required.
He's showing his quirks...typical lad, he's tried to drink out of the toilet
He doesn't bark...much. Not at dogs nearby...but if they are on telly or a video...he makes a racket. There was a box blowing around the other night and that elicited several woofs. He's getting used to meeting other dogs, and doesn't panic when I speak to anyone. He doesn't like loud people though...he wouldn't go near an acquaintance who can be heard on the other side of the park...;0
We're getting there :)

Wouldn't it be great to know what's going on in his "doggy mind" during this new episode in his life? A great occasion, pasta.
He looks full of character, a perfect match x

Good boy and intelligent. Already practicing social distancing. :-)
Do you know what his racing name was? Or his earmarks if you don't know his name?
Question Author
Yes,lankeela, I do know his name. Geek that I am, I googled it. He had 100 races...won 25, came second in another 20+. Pedigree goes back to 1820...as many racers do. Graded(I think) a1...not sure if that was him or the races.
Question Author
Oh...he has 2 tattoos...came from Ireland, raced in Poole.
That new photo is lovely Pasta, he's really smiling.
Question Author
He's really a lovely boy. I'm just so happy to have him. Sally would have liked him ;)
Does his leg trouble him at all?
Question Author
Not that I've noticed. The behaviourist who delivered him to me said he seemed a bit uncomfortable after a good run before he was readied for transport. I was advised that he really doesn't need excessive exercise.
Wow that is a very good racing record! A1 is the top grade race - he must have been a very good dog.
He still is bless him. xxxxxxx
Question Author
I'm quite proud of him already. Everyone who meets him comments on how beautiful he is. ♡♡

...and he just looked up at me with his tongue dangling out of one side of his mouth. So...elegant!
Does he love you now pasta?
i'm not a great fan of greyhounds but my he is a stunner
Question Author
Ohhh....how do you measure that? If leaning on me and asking for cuddles is an indication...yes, I guess so :)
Question Author
Bednobs...they are absolutely lovely dogs. Calm, quite loving, very silly sometimes.
Before I got Sally...a whippet/greyhound x...I wasn't sure about them either. Then I met a few "in person", and fell in love.
Good question pasta. I've had dogs I know adored me. Tail wagged if I just looked at them, so excited to see me, sat on my feet just to be near me. Then the last one I wasn't so sure of. I always thought as long as anyone fed him well, gave him treats, walked him then it wouldn't matter who it was. Not the first JRT I've thought was autistic, my neighbour's was the same. It was my daughter who first noticed it.
I think you've cracked it though. x
He is a super boy, pasta. Lovely teeth- his diet must be good for them. Lovely to read your news update.
