My dog groomer is resuming duties as of next week, This will undoubtably stop Mr Bobbs calling Lola a little hairy mammoth .

mm what are the restrictions on dog rescues? I ask because the one I support is still rehoming, in fact did very well last week with rehomings.

I think there certainly needs to be more transparency LB , like a list of people who can carry out certain jobs, to be included in the 5pm briefing

Here there no home checks being carried out so the more diligent rescues are not rehoming and public shelters are all shut

The rehoming charity I got Sammi from stopped rehoming immediately. A lot of their dogs that were in kennels were put in foster. Of the 2 local rehoming charities one has closed and the other looks like business as usual. I see nothing regarding Covid.

My Rescue is in Surrey and these are the guidelines in my link. I'm really pleased for the dogs that they are managing to do it.

I take back what I said about one shelter being open...they are not. I think some find ways to adopt out animals without face to face meetings such as home visits.

Oh I wish mine would. I do my dogs Anal glands myself, saw a demo on utube, very easy.

No visits just videos sent. The yard is considered the same as gyms and parks here. Not essential and the horses are being cared for. Lockdown is being followed to the letter here. This weekend being a 4 day holiday you are not allowed to leave your council area of residence Thursday evening to Monday evening. We also never had any panic buying or supermarkets running out of anything and a strict 10 allowed in then one in one out from the start of lockdown on March 13. All beaches and parks are also closed.
