Frankie usually gets Felix or Whiskas pouches with Jelly. He is a bit picky about the variety/flavour - prefers Tuna.
I sometimes give him a tin of Gourmet Melting Heart food, he particularly loves the liquid middle. However, I am not sure how he manages it but he gets the liquid stuck to his face (he can clean that off) and on his head and between his shoulder blades.
Does anyone else's feline family member manage to get in a mess eating this food?
I thought that it was normal for this to happen but when we went to see the vet a few months ago he questioned me about the hard bits in his coat and laughed when I told him what it was.
I've canvassed the opinions of my lot and they're all firmly of the belief that, whatever it is that's living in your house under the name of 'Frankie', it's most definitely NOT a cat!
According to the feline foursome, NO cat would ever waste a single morsel of expensive cat food ;-)
Tomus, Frankie will eat Purina in gravy if it is offered on a non-regular basis. But Jelly is usually acceptable.
He won't eat the expensive Kidney failure food that I have quite a lot of.
Chris, he eats like a Labrador. I think that he confused about his identity. I explain all about his mum being a feral cat and all the hardships that she encountered. But he just swears at me.
He is trying to liberate a treat from his treat container. But I want to make sure that his Prednisolone hits his tummy first.
We fed a very flat faced little persian stray. He was so hungry he dived in and when he lifted his head he had more food round his face than in his tummy. He did look funny. Fortunately, we managed to find his owner, happy ending.
