If it was only 10 months for the males, how would they reproduce?

However, the average age is much, much less. Additionally, although the pheasants do breed and reproduce in the wild, the majority of the birds are planted by individual State agencies here in the U.S., the birds,having been raised on game farms. This is especially true in areas of harsh winters and high predation from fox and skunks...
