Under the sofa...but I did get a glimpse of paws swiping a ball. It stopped unfortunately when I pushed the ball back to him. But it shows he may be relaxing a smidge. He still backs away when I stick my hand under the sofa...chicken doesn't tempt him enough yet.
Ha! Ted goes under the sofa, ostensibly to get his ball back but he invariably stays there and whimpers. Unlike your furry friend Ted can be tempted out with a chew. I'll be glad when he's too big to go under there!
Slow but steady progress. Have you a feather on a stick that you can dangle in front of the sofa. Leave the ball so he will come get it himself. Is he able to roam at night? You might wake up with him on your bed
I've a feather on a stick...I leave it hanging off the table. He's not shown any interest yet.
I've left paths of Dreamies over night...down the hall and on the bottom stairs. He gets to the stairs, but hasn't gone up. Maybe I'll try some chicken ;)
Next time he is under the couch put the feather on the floor and move it very gently across the floor in front of him. Your patience will be rewarded. Wait for your morning nose nibble!!
If you're going to try to tempt Tubby with some chicken, I suggest buying a chicken portion from a supermarket rotisserie counter. My lot quite like a bit of cold chicken and they'll happily tuck into chicken that I've cooked especially for them but it's the smell of the rotisserie stuff that really drives them wild!
