We have just aquired two King Charles Spaniels aged about 7 years old, not sure about innoculations, so our vet says they should be innoculated, cost 90. Am I being ripped off? Isn't it like giving an OAP the MMR vaccine?

Doesn't matter how old they are. We acquired a 6-year-old Golden Retriever 18 months ago. We have her vaccinated regularly. You'd never forgive yourself if your pets became ill and you could have done something to prevent it. Unfortunately, if you take on pets, you take on a lot of expense too!! But they're worth it!
If you think 90 is a rip off for two dogs, you wait till one of them becomes ill and watch the 's go up. I had been paying 60 a fortnight for one dog's heart condition. Just for tablets. We then had to pay consultation charges on top. If money is your problem you should not be taking on animals. Don't think of the money just enjoy them!
