X-Raying A Dog
14 Answers
How can vets justify charging £300 or more to x-Ray a dog? Surely a few such x-rays and the machine is paid for. Vets fees seriously need to be controlled, don’t they?

You are also paying for the handling of your pet, maybe also sedation or GA, the knowledge and experience (and insurance) of the person doing and reading the x rays, the maintenance of the building, employment of nurses and admin staff, VAT and so on. Vets are private companies like marks and spencer. If you don't like the fees, find somewhere else or don't have a pet.
